Eukhost had announced that their Eukhost cPanel shared hosting servers is no longer supported Frontpage Extensions. The reason they given is because the Microsoft has discontinued FrontPage extensions support for the Unix platform and they have observed severe intrusion attempts using Frontpage vulnerabilities. These intrusions attempts could affect every user on Eukhost shared servers. Many of these customers do not use FTP based publishing option within Frontpage client itself and easily get infected vulnerabilities.
We are suggest every users should maintain daily backups of all data and those customers in need of backup space can consider Eukhost backup plans at Remote Backup Service. This server has all of usual security patches applied. Although Eukhost decided to remove Frontpage Extensions from cPanel shared hosting plan but Frontpage publishing support is still available with Eukhost Windows hosting plans. For those who are reluctant to change to the FTP upload option should contact Eukhost technical support tream to get their website hosting migrated to one of the Eukhost Windows server. Customers also can request for their website hosting to be moved to Windows hosting servers if they want to continue use Frontpage publishing on their website.
