6. How Do I backup my website?

Open your FTP client and enter username and password for your account. Click on the Connect button to access the account. Navigate to the directory that holds your website files and folders. Select all of the files and folders in your website directory. Click and drag the selected files to a designated folder on your hard drive. This is typically in the left hand pane of the FTP screen.
